Paladins

The game has 4 classes: Front Line, Damage, Support and Flank. You can choose anyone of them that suits your play style the best. Currently there are 29 champions of which only 8 are unlocked by default for free. You can purchase others with gold as you progress through the game. There are also ranked matches in which new player wont be able to jump into right from the beginning. But, you have to work your way through earning experience. At least 12 champions will have to be at mastery level 4 or higher for the player to be eligible for competitive mode.

Paladins Game Modes:

Paladins has 3 different game modes currently implemented in the game:

  1. Siege: Both teams will have to capture an objective point which will spawn a payload that you have to escort to the enemy base. Capturing the point gives the team 1 point if the team is able to escort the payload to the delivery point the team will earn 2 point if not the both will have 1 point each at the end of the round.
the 1st team to score 4 points wins the match.
  2. Versus: Both teams have to fight it out in the middle of the map. The last team standing wins.
  3. Payload: Same as the siege match with a little twist there is no capture point instead one team has to take the payload which will be spawned in front of their spawn room where the other team will get the chance to close in on the opponent team preventing them from reaching the destination which is the delivery point. and then in the 2nd round tables will turn and the objectives will be interchanged. The team which can push the payload furthest will be declared the winner however if somehow both team manage to push the payload the exact same distance the winner will be the team which took less time to get to the point.

So What’s Next?

Complementing all the different game modes there are some great maps which you can enjoy and master. And there is also a mode for players to test out the test maps which can be really fun to try out. There is a complex card system that helps you build your own play style enhancing you and your champion’s abilities. There is also a store where you can buy item that will help you through out the match.
